We have a Referral!!!!!!!

Introducing.......

Our son Joshua JoonSeo

Joshua - Means "YAHWEH is salvation" or "The LORD saves"

JoonSeo - Means "Bright" and "Benevolent"

Psalm 113
Praise the LORD.
Praise, O servants of the LORD,
praise the name of the LORD.
Let the name of the LORD be praised,
       both now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the LORD is to be praised.
The LORD is exalted over all the nations,
       his glory above the heavens.
Who is like the LORD our God,
the One who sits enthroned on high,
who stoops down to look
on the heavens and the earth?
He raises the poor from the dust
       and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
he seats them with princes,
with the princes of their people.
He settles the barren woman in her home
as a happy mother of children.

Praise the LORD.

We got the call on August 30th after waiting only 5 months. After getting the information medically reviewed (required by our agency) and then waiting for some missing test results, we officially accepted the referral last Friday September 17th! I was able to share the news with my family that evening. This past week has been super busy as I have prepared the acceptance paperwork and took photos of our house to send to our agency. Everything should be sent off by the end of this week!

We are so excited!

Speechless ...

... the next months will seem to drag by at times. It felt like Isaac would never get here. But the moment he does, all the years of waiting will meld into God's perfect plan!

I can't wait to see you hold him! (Can I come to Korea with you?!)

Just want you folks to know that although there are a few adoptees out in the cyberspace that might give you a bad time, THIS Korean Adoptee Says Praise the Lord.

My Adoption was in May of 1956, I was on the very first plane of the Holt Adoption Program. I left with 11 others but we had to stay almost 3 weeks in Tokyo, Japan, and Dr. Bob Pierce came over to stay with us. Celebrities Roy Rogers and his wife Dale Evens-Rogers adopted little Debbie.

My Adoptive parents were God-fearing and raised us up to know all about how we all are adopted into God's family. In all the craziness/difficulties of Transcultural/racial expressions folks may throw at you. Never mind, you go back to the Word of God and study what Adoption really is.

Bet you don't know what the word means...Latin words: "Ad + Optare" means "Take/Add and Choose". Or "To Take by Choice"! Our Father in Heaven Took us by Choice, predestined us before the foundations of the world.

You have also taken by choice the One that HE ordained for you. Don't let anyone out there try to make any of you feel bad for adopting "outside your race", neither, for it is written that we are all the same "In Christ". God Is Blessing you.
